Privacy policy

Privacy is part of the connection model.

Effective: August 3, 2026

This policy describes how Kaxon-Ai handles information for Partner Finder. Partner Finder is a nearby-finding Android application. It is not a GPS tracking or remote location-history service.

Information kept on your device

Partner Finder stores the owner name, app-generated installation identity, trusted peers, people and groups, selected peer, roles, trust and revocation state, chat history, Bluetooth calibration, settings, and diagnostic logs on the Android device. Bluetooth addresses may be observed by Android during nearby communication but are not used as permanent Partner Finder identity.

Optional account and cloud information

If you create or sign into an account, Firebase Authentication processes your email address and sign-in credentials or Google account authentication. Kaxon-Ai's Cloudflare Worker and D1 database store an opaque account identifier, Firebase user mapping, public installation keys and capabilities, device display names, approved relationship/person/group mappings, revisions, transfer/recovery state, revocations, and limited operational timestamps. Email addresses are not stored in D1.

Firebase Cloud Messaging may carry a short-lived wake/reconnect instruction for a trusted peer. Cloud messaging does not carry GPS location, distance, direction, Bluetooth RSSI, chat text, pairing codes, or private keys.

Nearby communication

Bluetooth carries pairing, identity, trust, messaging, reconnect commands, and nearby ranging samples directly between devices. When both phones support compatible UWB, Android UWB may provide precise distance and sometimes azimuth. Bluetooth remains the authenticated base connection while UWB is active.

Optional analytics and crash reports

Usage analytics and crash reporting are disabled until you choose them separately. Allowed analytics are limited to coarse app-open, screen, feature, pairing, Find, privacy-choice, and membership events. Partner Finder does not put owner or peer names, email, Partner Finder/Firebase identifiers, messages, pairing values, distance, direction, RSSI, UWB samples, or location into these events. Firebase may process a random analytics app-instance identifier and basic app, session, device, or crash information. Turning analytics off resets local Analytics data; turning crash reporting off deletes unsent reports.

Purchases

Google Play processes payment information. RevenueCat validates purchase entitlements using only Partner Finder's opaque account identifier. Partner Finder does not send RevenueCat an email address, phone serial number, installation UUID, peer identity, Bluetooth address, message, distance, or direction. Kaxon-Ai does not receive full payment-card details.

Purposes and sharing

Information is used to provide authentication, trusted-device continuity, cloud-assisted wake, durable revocation, purchases, support, security, and optional diagnostics. It is processed by service providers needed for those purposes, including Google Firebase and Play, Cloudflare, and RevenueCat. Kaxon-Ai does not sell personal information and this release contains no advertising SDK.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains until you remove a peer, clear app data, uninstall, reset for another account, or delete the account. Cloud operational and account records are retained only as needed for the service, security, revocation, recovery, and abuse prevention. Durable device-specific revocations may be retained after account deletion so a deleted relationship is not silently recreated.

Use Account & device inside the app for permanent deletion, or use the web deletion request. Account deletion is designed to remove the Firebase account, account-owned Cloudflare rows, and the corresponding RevenueCat customer. Deleting the account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription.

Security and age

Partner Finder uses app-generated identifiers, signed requests, non-exportable Android keys where supported, encrypted network transport, explicit trust pairing, and exact-device matching. No system is guaranteed perfectly secure. Partner Finder is intended for users age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Contact privacy@kaxon-ai.com for privacy questions.
