Partner Finder Terms of Service

The terms and choices for this version of Partner Finder.

Version: 2026-09-19-v1. Effective date: September 19, 2026.

Who we are and what these Terms cover

Partner Finder is an assumed name of Kaxon AI LLC ("Kaxon AI", "we", "us"). These Terms are an agreement between you and Kaxon AI LLC. They govern the Partner Finder app, the Partner Finder website and the account, relay and support services behind them (together, the "service"), in every version in which they are presented and accepted. They do not retroactively authorize new uses of personal information.

The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is part of these Terms. The Guardian Addendum applies when an adult activates Family Access. The Teen Summary explains the service to users aged 13 to 17 in plain words; where it differs from these Terms, these Terms control. Google Play's own terms govern your purchase and download from Google Play.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

Eligibility and your account

Partner Finder is available from age 13 in the regions where we offer it. Adults use an independent Standard account. Users aged 13 to 17 need a parent or legal guardian to accept these Terms and the Guardian Addendum, and must themselves agree to the Teen Summary and the data choices that apply to them. Enrollment under age 13 is not available. Do not misrepresent your age or your authority over a teen.

Setup needs an Internet connection, a verified email address and completion of the eligibility checks shown in the app. The app asks for an age range; it does not ask for a birth date. Email verification does not prove age or guardianship. Where an app store or a regional law supplies an age or supervision signal, we honor it, and regional rules may require additional verification before some features work.

Your account is yours alone. Keep your sign-in credentials and pairing codes private, use a device you control, and tell us at support@kaxon-ai.com if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you tell us. One active phone is supported per account; signing in on another supported phone moves the account to it.

What Partner Finder does and does not do

Partner Finder helps two people who already trust each other find one another. Bluetooth provides the nearby connection and an estimated proximity. Compatible ultra-wideband (UWB) hardware can add precision, and direction requires supported measurements. When the phones are not within nearby range and both have Internet, a Plus finder can request an encrypted location from a consenting responder who uses the free app. Bluetooth discovery may run alongside a remote request.

A Find lasts up to 15 minutes and allows up to six location attempts about two and a half minutes apart. Failed and timed-out attempts count. An authenticated Bluetooth connection ends the remaining remote attempts.

A Plus finder may start a Find for one to three trusted people chosen individually. Each person keeps a separate permission, session, attempt limit, status and Stop control; choosing a group never requests everyone automatically, and one person declining does not affect the others. During a Find you may send short messages to the people in that Find. A watch paired to your phone may show the same direction and distance your phone shows; the phone performs the Find and the watch only mirrors it. A point can be missing, delayed, inaccurate or old. Arrows and distances are guidance, not a safe walking route. Crowds, buildings, vehicles, metal, phone hardware, permissions, networks and battery settings all affect results.

Partner Finder is not an emergency, rescue, medical, child-tracking, employee-monitoring or guaranteed-location service. Do not rely on it where a failure could cause harm. Keep a meeting plan, stay on safe paths, do not trespass, and contact emergency services when someone may be in danger.

Consent, finding and location

Only connect with people who agree to connect with you. During new adult pairing, explicit acceptance of the remote-location disclosure gives that exact trusted partner permission to request bounded location sessions. Permission is directional: each adult accepts for their own phone. It lasts until location access is turned off or either person removes the trust. No new prompt appears for each Find while that grant is valid. Previously saved nearby trust is never silently converted into location permission. Separate location controls may offer a shorter duration. Android location and background permissions are still required; accepting trust does not grant them.

Each person in a group Find must separately be a trusted connection of yours and must separately have permitted location for you. There is no group-wide permission.

A teen must agree to location sharing even with their guardian. Any other recipient also needs the guardian's approval, including anyone added to a group Find. Guardian status does not give automatic access to coordinates, messages or unrelated activity history. A responder can stop future updates or revoke access at any time. Revocation cannot undo a screenshot or what a recipient already knows.

After setup, saved nearby connections keep working offline while you remain signed in with valid local authorization. Downloaded maps never deliver another person's current position without communication. Tapping Stop on your phone takes effect on that phone immediately. A change made through the service, such as removing a trusted person, applies to every later request that passes through the service. A phone that is offline learns of a revocation when it next reconnects.

Family Access and device changes

Where Family Access is offered in your version, the adult and the teen confirm their link separately. The adult must have actual parental or legal guardian authority. A teen can stop location sharing. Revoking Family Access ends family authority and any sponsored premium access; it does not delete the teen's account. Managed cloud access needs a current guardian link. Previously authorized nearby access follows local safety rules.

Signing in to the same account on a new supported phone may activate that phone and retire the previous one without approval from the previous phone. The previous phone loses cloud access immediately. If it is offline, it may continue previously authorized nearby activity until it reconnects or its local authorization ends. Replacing a phone does not restore the former installation's private trust keys and does not approve that installation for another person's location. Anyone who can pass the account's sign-in and security checks can replace the active phone, so protect your account. Replacing a phone does not establish or replace legal guardianship, and disputes about guardianship may require review through lawful channels. At adulthood, age review and adult acceptance allow independence; guardian authority does not continue automatically.

Your responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

Legally protected security research and interoperability rights remain. If you find a security problem, please report it to support@kaxon-ai.com and give us a reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it.

Messages, blocking and reports

Messages sent during a Find are short notes between the people in that Find, such as where to meet. They are not a public forum and are not broadcast. You are responsible for what you send. Do not use messages for anything the list above prohibits.

You can block another user. Blocking takes effect on your phone at once and refuses that person's Find requests and messages; it does not require their agreement and does not tell them what you were told. You can also report an account to us. We review reports we receive, and we may warn, limit, suspend or end an account that breaks these Terms or creates a safety risk. We may keep a record of a report and of the action taken. Reporting someone is not a substitute for contacting the authorities when a person may be in danger.

Paid access

Some features need Plus. Plus is sold through Google Play as prepaid passes of one, three or seven days and as monthly or yearly subscriptions. The checkout shows the product, price, duration, renewal terms, taxes and how to cancel. Prepaid passes expire without renewing; a pass can be extended in Google Play before it ends. Subscriptions renew as disclosed until cancelled in Google Play. Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in Google Play.

Refunds follow applicable law and Google Play's rules. We may change prices and plans for future purchases; a change to a subscription price takes effect only at a renewal after Google Play has given you the notice its rules require. Check the compatibility page before you buy: Plus does not add hardware your phone does not have. Managed teens cannot purchase directly. Sponsored access for a teen requires an expressly offered, verified entitlement; a family link alone grants none. A valid lifetime purchase made before these Terms keeps its agreed entitlement. Proposed prices and future products are not offers until they appear in checkout.

Our software, your feedback and third-party services

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Android devices you own or control, for your own use, in accordance with these Terms. We keep all other rights in the app, the service, the Partner Finder name and logo and the Kaxon AI name. Third-party and open-source components are licensed under their own terms, which are available in the app or on request.

If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, you give us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you. Do not send us anything confidential. Testimonials are published only with your separate permission.

The service relies on providers we do not control: Google Play for distribution and billing, and the sign-in, push-notification, hosting, relay, security, purchase-validation and map providers named in the Privacy Policy. Those providers' outages, changes or terms can affect the service, and their terms govern your direct relationship with them.

Testing builds

During internal, closed or open testing, builds are provided for evaluation. They may be unstable, may change or lose data between versions, and may be withdrawn. Testing access is not a promise of a future release, price or feature. We ask testers not to publish screenshots, recordings or details of unreleased features without our permission.

Deleting your account and ending use

You can delete your account from Account in the app. A verified request locks the account at once, and a 14-day waiting period lets you change your mind by signing in and choosing Keep my account. When the waiting period ends, we erase the account as the Privacy Policy describes. You can also ask at privacy@kaxon-ai.com or through the website; we verify identity and authority first. Deletion does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, create a safety or legal risk, or if we must for security, compatibility or legal reasons. Where a law or a store rule requires notice or a refund, we provide it. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service we will give reasonable notice where practical and honor any refund rights that apply. Updates may be required to keep using the service. Future iPhone or long-range radio work is not a delivery promise.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including uninterrupted operation, accuracy of any location or distance, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or data recovery. Location results depend on physics, hardware and networks we do not control. Mandatory consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded remain.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kaxon AI LLC, its members, managers, employees, contractors and providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury or property damage arising from a missed or inaccurate location, an interruption, or another person's conduct, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence where such a limit is not allowed. They do not promise immunity from claims.

Your responsibility for misuse

You are responsible for your own unlawful or harmful use of the service. If your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use causes a third-party claim against Kaxon AI LLC, you agree to reimburse our reasonable costs of defending and resolving that claim, to the extent permitted by law. This does not apply to a teen user, and it does not make a guardian liable for every action of every user; a guardian is responsible only as the law provides.

Disputes

If you have a problem, contact support@kaxon-ai.com first. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Kaxon AI LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the mandatory consumer protection laws of the place where you live continue to apply. Claims may be brought in the courts with jurisdiction over Kaxon AI LLC or, where the law allows, in your local courts, including small-claims court. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive your right to bring or join a class action or to complain to a regulator.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms. Each version carries a version identifier and an effective date, and the app records which exact version you accepted. Material changes receive appropriate notice and, where required, renewed acceptance before they apply to you. Minor corrections may be posted without individual notice. A change never authorizes processing you did not approve. If you decline a new version, you can still make privacy requests and, where compatible, continue to use previously authorized offline features.

General terms

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Guardian Addendum and the Teen Summary are the whole agreement between you and Kaxon AI LLC about the service. If a part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them to a successor of the service, with notice. Terms that by their nature should survive, including payment, license, disclaimer, liability and dispute terms, survive the end of your use. You must comply with export and sanctions laws that apply to you. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may send notices to your verified email or through the app; you may send notices to the addresses below. These Terms are written in English.
